Esra joined Selvedge Venture in August 2020 as part of the founding team to lead investor relations with a focus on the US and Middle East markets. Prior to joining Selvedge, Esra exited her restaurant / catering group, Craft Ktchn. Esra started Craft Ktchn in 2016 with a view of bringing to Turkey the innovative takeout approach utilized by Deliveroo and others around high-end fast-food concept. Through the Craft Ktchn venture she was able to establish two restaurants, a delivery-based offering and a catering business.
Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures, Esra worked in Foreks (Istanbul, TR), a financial data and solutions provider as a BD manager focusing on product management and client relations. Esra laterally moved into the energy/fin tech intersection where she was part of establishing and growth of a Joint Venture between Foreks and Montel (Oslo, Norway) as a project manager.
Esra graduated from Tufts University with a BA in Economics and Political Science in 2010. Additionally, in 2011 she has completed the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy corporate finance courses with a focus on international financial management.
